The Nordic Textile Academy is a hub for education and skills development in textiles and fashion.
Education
We offer 2-year higher vocational programs for those who wish to enter the industry. Theory is combined with workplace learning (LIA). The internship period corresponds to 25% of the program duration. For textile technicians, it is almost 50%. The teachers are from the industry. Trips within Europe to visit textile production, exhibitions and trends. The education takes place at Textile Fashion Center, Borås, Sweden.
For those who are already part of the industry and want to develop further we offer higher vocational courses and independent online courses.
We also tailor educational packages for fashion and textile companies. We create unique lectures, workshops, or specific course packages tailored to your needs.
Erasmus intern
Since 2019, The Nordic Textile Academy has been able to offer our students the opportunity to apply for an Erasmus+ scholarship. The scholarship covers costs for travel, accommodation, and living expenses, and is valid for a period of 10 weeks.
The purpose of the scholarship is to provide you, as a student, the opportunity to develop your professional skills for the current and future job market while experiencing a different culture, language, and environment. The scholarship is valid in all EU member states as well as Iceland, Turkey, North Macedonia, Serbia, Liechtenstein, and Norway.
Our students have completed their internships in cities such as Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Milan, at both large and small companies.

Projects
The Nordic Textile Academy participates in projects in Sweden and Europe. Projects that share our vision about a sustainable future within the textile- and fashion industry. The following project websites offer information in English:
